Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position located in Benton, AR. As a Computer Aided Design Technician at Richardson Engineering, you will be responsible for producing detailed technical drawings and plans in collaboration with engineers. Day-to-day tasks include creating CAD-based designs for municipal and developmental projects, modifying existing plans as needed, and ensuring all design specifications and industry standards are met. You will also coordinate with team members to deliver high-quality and efficient project outcomes.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in providing Technical Support, including diagnosing and resolving design software-related issues
- Strong knowledge of Operating Systems relevant to CAD software
- Proficient in modern computer-aided design tools and drafting software such as AutoCAD Civil 3d or similar programs
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications
- Strong analytical skills, detail-oriented mindset, and time management abilities
- Associates degree or certification in Computer Aided Design, Engineering Technology, or related field a plus
- Experience in water, wastewater, or development-related projects also a plus
Working Conditions
