How you'll contribute: A Surgical Technician who excels in this role:
• Prepares the surgical suite with drapes, solutions, instruments, equipment, and supplies; ensures equipment and instruments are in good working order.
• Assists with preparing, transporting, positioning, and draping patients.
• Passes instruments to physicians during surgery and continually accounts for number and location of instruments and supplies.
• Receives and processes specimens for delivery to the laboratory.
• Participates in performance improvement and continuing education.
• Provides quality patient care and works flexible shifts/units as needed.
• Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

What we're looking for:
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred;
Graduate of a surgical technology program preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of 6 months prior experience in another facility.
Certifications:
None required; BCLS preferred.
