Licensed Manager- Plumbing

Job Description

Licensed Manager/ Plumbing in Facilities Maintenance Operations at Walmart, overseeing predictive and preventative maintenance of facilities within a regional area. Lead a team of technicians to ensure buildings operate efficiently and sustainably while providing a safe and comfortable environment for associates and customers.

• Salary range: $90,000 - $180,000
• Compensation based on skill set, experience, geographic location, level of job offer, qualifications, and other job‑related factors.

• Approximately 50% or more travel within the region; maintain Mechanical Contractor Licenses in the state of employment.
• Work directly with Store Managers and Facility Services Leadership on facility services needs.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors as required.
• Provide reporting and analytics on maintenance activities.
• Maintain up‑to‑date contractor licenses to uphold good standing with authorities.
• Participate in training programs to stay current on regulatory requirements, including site inspections for compliance and quality standards.
• Obtain and secure necessary permits and schedule inspections per mechanical and building codes.

• General Facilities Services / Overall Building Maintenance Experience – 3‑5 years preferred.
• Electrical, plumbing, or mechanical experience.
• Leadership skills – ability to lead, motivate, and develop others.
• Communication and interpersonal skills.
• Problem‑solving skills – root cause and breakdown analysis experience.
• Customer service orientation.

• EPA Universal Certification.
• PMP Certification.
• Lean Six Sigma.
• Master Plumber certification.
