More about our teamJoin our team in a Critical Care Unit where you will provide compassionate care to patients alongside a dedicated team of Registered Nurses (RNs). You will play a crucial role in assessing patient needs, administering treatments, and ensuring patient comfort and safety. This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment focused on delivering high-quality patient care.
How you’ll contribute- Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs.
- Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions.
- Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient.
- Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record.
- Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
- Performs timely and accurate QI assessments.
- Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition to the care team, physician, patient, and family.
- Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care activities.
- Assists patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
- Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and psychosocial/spiritual support needs.
- Advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess a bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:
- Basic Life Support Certification.
- ACLS and PALS preferred.
- One year of experience preferred.
- ASLS certification preferred.
