Assessment and Referral Registered Nurse (RN) – PRN / Not Remote
PRN Day Shift 7 a.m. – 7 p.m.
ResponsibilitiesThe Admissions and Referral Registered Nurse (RN) renders professional nursing care to patients within the assessment and admission process. Practices ongoing patient assessment through observation of physical and behavioral symptomatology. Documents all data accurately in a timely manner. Participates in formulation of individual care plans for all patients and implements plan according to hospital policy. Communicates pertinent data to other service areas as needed.
Encompasses responsibilities delegated to A & R representatives as regularly needed.
The RN operates in accordance with the competency guidelines and full scope of practice within the Rules and Regulations of Registered Nurses outlined by the Arkansas Board of Nursing and according to agency operating policies, protocols, and standards.
Qualifications- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Hold AR RN license or be license eligible.
- CPR and Handle with Care/Verbal De-escalation offered upon hire. Mandatory certifications.
- Ability to work harmoniously and effectively with patients, families, visitors and staff. Must work as a team with all staff/coworkers and maintain ability to treat all patients with respect.
