Saline Memorial Hospital, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a compassionate and skilled Wound Care RN to provide high‑quality care and improve patient outcomes. The role follows WHC policies, established care protocols, and Diversified Clinical Services Practice Guidelines, working in collaboration with physicians under RN direction when applicable.
How you'll contribute- Performs duties as assigned and requested.
- Completes focused patient assessments and reassessments based on patient condition, procedures, medications, and treatments.
- Adequately assesses and reassesses pain; utilizes appropriate pain‑management techniques.
- Provides patient care and communicates effectively with patients of all ages and with specific needs.
- Demonstrates knowledge of medications and ensures correct administration following the six rights to minimize medication errors.
- Assists physicians with procedures and provides services requiring technical and manual skills.
- Performs treatments and delivers care within licensed scope.
- Ensures patient safety by performing all aspects of care in an environment that reduces the likelihood of errors.
- Operates and manages equipment safely and correctly.
- Educates patients and families on disease processes and recovery expectations.
- Participates in performance improvement and continuing education.
- Provides quality patient care and works flexible shifts/units as needed.
- Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Current state or compact state RN license.
- Associate’s degree from an accredited nursing school (BSN preferred).
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) required;
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required within one year of hire. - One‑year previous experience required.
