Licensed Practical Nurse; LPN

Description

We are seeking a dependable and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our busy family practice clinic. This role is essential in supporting providers and delivering high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, can multitask in a fast-paced environment, and works well both independently and as part of a team.

• Escort patients from the waiting area and prepare them for examination
• Obtain and record patient vital signs
• Enter and maintain accurate patient information in the Electronic Health Record (EHR)
• Perform medication reconciliation
• Conduct EKGs as needed
• Administer injections and medications as directed
• Return patient phone calls and assist with patient communication
• Complete medication and radiology prior authorizations
• Communicate lab results to patients
• Schedule diagnostic testing and follow-up care
• Assist providers to ensure efficient clinic operations

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license required
• Family practice or clinical experience preferred, but not required
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Dependable with a strong commitment to professionalism

• Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM or 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Occasional overtime may be required
