Join our team in a Critical Care Unit where you will provide compassionate care to patients alongside a dedicated team of Registered Nurses (RNs). You will play a crucial role in assessing patient needs, administering treatments, and ensuring patient comfort and safety. This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment focused on delivering high-quality patient care.
How you'll contribute- Performs duties as assigned and requested.
- Completes focused patient assessments and reassessments based on patient’s condition, procedures, medications, and treatments.
- Adequately assesses and reassesses pain; utilizes appropriate pain management techniques.
- Provides patient care and communicates effectively with patients of all ages and with specific needs.
- Demonstrates knowledge of medications and ensures correct administration following the six rights to minimize medication errors.
- Assists physicians with procedures and provides services requiring technical and manual skills.
- Performs treatments and delivers care within licensed scope.
- Ensures patient safety by performing all aspects of care in an environment that reduces the likelihood of errors.
- Operates and manages equipment safely and correctly.
- Educates patients and families on disease processes and recovery expectations.
- Participates in performance improvement and continuing education.
- Provides quality patient care and works flexible shifts/units as needed.
- Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess a bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school.
- Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
- ACLS and PALS are required within six months of hire.
- One year of experience preferred.
- ASLS certification preferred.
