Saline Memorial Hospital is part of Lifepoint Health, a diversified healthcare delivery network. As a Behavioral Health RN you will provide compassionate care to patients in a 29-bed Behavioral Health unit, working alongside RNs, LPNs, and CNAs.

• Provides direct patient care using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.
• Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care treatments.
• Documents patient care given.
• Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
• Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
• Evaluates learning needs of patients and/or family and provides education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
• Advocates for the physical and emotional well‑being of the patient.

• Associate's degree required; BSN preferred.
• Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, ability to work with minimal supervision, work in a stressful environment.
• Previous Behavioral Health experience required.
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire.
• Licensed Registered Nurse in Tennessee or a Compact State with proper Tennessee paperwork filed within 30 days of hire.
