Job Summary

The Clinic Registered Nurse (RN) in Cardiology provides specialized nursing care and coordination for patients within the cardiology clinic setting. This role involves triaging patient concerns, performing diagnostic tests such as EKGs and stress tests, managing heart monitoring equipment, and educating patients on cardiac conditions and treatments. The RN collaborates closely with cardiology services to ensure comprehensive patient care. This position requires strong clinical skills, cardiology experience, and the ability to work effectively in an ambulatory care environment.

• Triage and assess patient concerns related to cardiology.
• Coordinate care across cardiology services to ensure seamless patient management.
• Assist with Exercise Stress Tests and Tilt Table Tests.
• Perform EKGs and manage heart monitoring equipment.
• Start IVs for diagnostic testing as needed.
• Educate patients on cardiac conditions, medications, and treatment plans.
• Occasionally assist with patient rooming and clinic flow.

• Current Colorado Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
• Minimum of 3 years of cardiology-specific clinic or ambulatory care experience.
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health record system and clinic experience.

• Experience with heart monitoring equipment management.
• Strong patient education and communication skills.

• No on-call or weekend shifts required.
• Work environment focused on cardiology ambulatory care.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinic setting.

• Monday through Friday, day shifts only.
• No weekends or call responsibilities.
