Assessment and Referral Registered Nurse (RN)

Thursday and Friday, 10:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. (Not Remote/Not PRN)

Rivendell Behavioral Health Services is an 80‑bed full‑service behavioral healthcare acute care facility located in Benton, AR, that has been providing quality health care to the residents of Arkansas since 1985. The facility offers comprehensive mental health and addiction treatment services, focusing on integrated care and self‑respect for patients.

• Render professional nursing care to patients within the assessment and admission process.
• Conduct ongoing patient assessment through observation of physical and behavioral symptomatology.
• Document all data accurately and in a timely manner.
• Participate in the formulation of individual care plans for all patients and implement plans according to hospital policy.
• Communicate pertinent data to other service areas as needed.
• Perform duties assigned to Admissions & Referral (A & R) representatives as regularly required.
• Operate in accordance with the competency guidelines and scope of practice outlined by the Arkansas Board of Nursing and agency policies.

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Hold an Arkansas RN license or be license‑eligible (new graduates welcome).
• Ability to work harmoniously and effectively with patients, families, visitors, and staff.
• Must be able to work as a team with all staff/co‑workers and treat all patients with respect.
• CPR and Handle with Care/Verbal De‑escalation training offered upon hire; mandatory certifications.
