Saline Memorial Hospital is a 177‑bed hospital in Benton, Arkansas, part of Lifepoint Health.
Responsibilities- Provides direct patient care using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.
- Performs plan‑of‑care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments.
- Documents patient care given.
- Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition to the care team, physician, patient, and family.
- Assists patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
- Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfer, discharge, referrals, and psychosocial support.
- Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
- Advocates for the physical and emotional well‑being of the patient.
- Associate’s degree required; BSN preferred.
- Critical thinking, decisive judgment, ability to work with minimal supervision in a stressful environment.
- AHA Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire.
- Licensed Registered Nurse in the State of Tennessee or a Compact State with proper Tennessee paperwork filed within 30 days of hire.
- Previous behavioral health experience preferred.
