Schedule:

6:30 AM – 4:00 PM The Director of Nursing – Surgical Services is responsible for the strategic leadership and operational oversight of all surgical service lines, including Main OR, Outpatient Surgery, PACU, Pre-Op, Post-Op, and Endoscopy. This role ensures high-quality patient care, regulatory compliance, staff engagement, and optimal operational performance.

• Lead and manage Surgical Services operations across multiple departments
• Oversee performance metrics such as: case volume, turnover time, block utilization, on-time starts
• Develop and implement departmental goals aligned with organizational strategy
• Ensure compliance with clinical, regulatory, and quality standards (e.g., HIPAA)
• Manage staffing lifecycle: hiring, training, evaluations, and performance management
• Oversee departmental budgeting and financial performance
• Drive process improvement and integrate evidence-based practices
• Lead internal and external audits
• Foster a culture of professional development and patient-centered care

• Current RN License (Required)
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN required)
• Minimum 3+ years in a Director-level leadership role
• Strong experience in Surgical Services (OR, PACU, Pre/Post-Op, Endoscopy)

• Master's Degree (MSN, MBA, or Healthcare Administration)
• Experience managing 60+ FTEs
• 5+ years of Surgical Services leadership experience
• Certifications:
  
  BLS (Required), ACLS & PALS (Preferred)
