Certified Medical Assistant

Job Summary:

We seek a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse with specialities in Medical/Surgical, ICU, ER, Psychiatric, Labor & Delivery, PACU, Operating Room. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing skilled nursing care, case management, and hospice care to individuals facing advancing age, frailty, and serious illness. Daily tasks include patient assessments, medication administration, treatment planning, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team.

Critical to this role is strong communication and strong collaboration with patients, providers, and other members of our team. At least 2 years of experience and exceptional skill is required.

• Provide skilled nursing care to patients in various specialties including Medical/Surgical, ICU, ER, Psychiatric, Labor & Delivery, PACU, and Operating Room.
• Conduct patient assessments and develop treatment plans.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
• Manage patient cases and provide hospice care as needed.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.

• Active Registered Nurse license in the state of employment.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
• Minimum of two years' experience in hospital, home health, or hospice care.
• Proficiency in clinical assessment, medication administration, and treatment planning.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver's license, car insurance, and access to an automobile for field work.

• Experience in multiple nursing specialties such as ICU, ER, or Operating Room.
• Additional certifications relevant to specialized nursing areas.

• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced and high-stress environments.
• Strong collaboration with patients, healthcare providers, and team members is essential.

• Work schedule may include variable shifts depending on the specialty and facility needs.
• Flexibility to work day, night, or rotational shifts as assigned.
