** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical-related disturbances, visitor issues, and facility alarms, and/or escalating to the appropriate on-site personnel or emergency services.

+ Control access points by monitoring entries and exits, verifying authorization as required, and assisting with visitor direction and basic check-in processes in support of security-related protocols.

+ Document patrols, incidents, and observations in written reports and/or electronic systems, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

+ A guard card and/or license is preferred.

+ CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
