Low Voltage Infrastructure Technician; Cabling, CCTV, Security

Job Description

The Role Ultimate Communications, Inc. is looking for a skilled Low Voltage Technician to help build the physical infrastructure of our clients' businesses. We specialize in Fiber Optics, Structured Cabling, Access Control, and CCTV. If you take pride in perfectly dressed cables and clean installations, we want to talk to you.

Responsibilities:

• Structured Cabling: Pull, terminate, and test Cat5e, Cat6, and Fiber Optic cabling in commercial and residential environments.
• Security Systems: Install and program CCTV cameras, NVRs, and Access Control systems (mag locks, card readers).
• Infrastructure: Mount racks, patch panels, and manage cable pathways (J-hooks, conduit).
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose physical layer issues (bad terminations, broken lines) and repair them efficiently.
• Quality Control: Ensure every job site is left cleaner than you found it—we deliver quality over quantity.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Previous experience with low voltage cabling, alarm installation, or electrical work is highly preferred.
• The
  
  Skills:
  
  Ability to terminate jacks (RJ45), punch down patch panels, and use a toner/tester. Experience with Fiber splicing is a massive plus.
• The Tools: Must be comfortable working on ladders, lifts, and using power tools.
• The Mindset: Safety-oriented, reliable, and willing to work in various environments (new construction, finished offices, attics).
• Driver's License: Valid DL and a clean driving record are mandatory.
