At Hemington Landscape Services, we're looking for a
Staff Accountant
who's organized, detail-driven, and ready to make a real impact. You'll help keep our finances running smoothlyworking closely with Project Managers, Estimators, and Field Leaders to support billing, job costing, and monthly closes.
We're a down-to-earth, fast-moving construction company, and we value service, quality, and character above all else.
What You’ll Do:- Handle general ledger work, job cost tracking, and reconciliations
- Support AP, AR, billing, and monthly close
- Help maintain accurate project financials and fixed assets
- Collaborate across teams to keep operations and reporting on point
- Look for ways to improve processes and support leadership with reporting
- 2+ years in accounting
(construction or job cost experience preferred) - Sage 100 Contractor and Sage Paperless experience required
(certifications a big plus) - Strong Excel skills (think formulas, pivots, and VLOOKUPs)
- Clear communicator and team player
- Self-motivated with great attention to detail and accountability
