Job Summary
Bookkeeper / Administrative Assistant - Direct Hire, Elyria, Ohio. Up to $22 per hour, based on experience. This role provides accounting support, invoice processing and assists with audits and general office operations.
Key Responsibilities- Process and enter invoices into the accounts payable system with a high level of accuracy
- Research and resolve invoice discrepancies in a timely manner
- Prepare and process vendor payments on a regular basis
- Assist with audits and ensure compliance across multiple locations
- Maintain organized digital and physical financial records
- Provide administrative and bookkeeping support to the finance team
- Support general office operations as needed
- Associate's degree in Accounting or related field preferred, or 2+ years of bookkeeping/accounting experience
- Strong attention to detail with accurate data entry skills
- Solid problem-solving and organizational abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook
- Experience with accounting software (Microsoft Dynamics or similar is a plus)
- Basic understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles
- Ability to pass a background check
