Arkansas Connections Academy (ARCA) is a tuition‑free, virtual public charter school serving students in grades K‑12 statewide. ARCA is authorized by the Arkansas Charter Authorizing Panel and the State Board of Education, and is governed by an independent Board of Directors. The school contracts with Connections Education to provide its educational program and other services. ARCA is accredited by the North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement, the Northwest Accreditation Commission, and the Southern Association of Colleges & Schools Council on Accreditation and School Improvement (SACS CASI), which are accrediting divisions of Cognia.

Position Summary and Responsibilities
Working from the office in Bentonville, Arkansas, or remotely, the Student Success Services Specialist will provide administrative, data, and communication assistance related to student records, community service learning, transcripts, and concurrent credit processes. This position plays a key role in maintaining accurate student data, supporting compliance requirements, and ensuring timely communication with students, staff, and external partners.
The Specialist will be responsible for the successful completion of the following tasks.
Answer incoming phone calls, directing them to the appropriate staff member.
- Assist with entering new students into eSchool.
- Assist with processing and mailing of official transcripts, as needed.
- Assist with transcript entry in POC.
- Monitor, track, and communicate high school students’ credit standing and progress toward graduation requirements to students, families, and staff.
- Process and track invoices for concurrent college.
- Complete textbook orders for concurrent college credit courses.
- Collaborate with Finance and Student Success teams to ensure billing accuracy.
- Complete Mckinney‑Vento ordering, as needed.
- Manage Community Service Learning site approvals, as needed.
- Generate Student data reports, as needed.
- Perform additional tasks, as needed.
Requirements
- Must reside within the state of Arkansas or live 300 miles from Bentonville, AR
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, Google Workspace, and web‑based applications is essential
- Eschool experience preferred
- Data analysis experience preferred
- Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
- Good interpersonal skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Customer focused approach
- High degree of flexibility
- Occasional travel, including overnight stays, may be required position
- Demonstrated ability to work well in fast paced team environment
- Must be able to use a personal electronic device and an email address for two‑step authentication.
