(USA) Senior Manager, Specialty Compliance and Ethics - U.S. Product Safety and Compliance, Walmart, Bentonville, AR.

In this role, you’ll help shape the future of Walmart’s private brand portfolio by ensuring our products meet the highest standards of safety and regulatory compliance. You’ll work at the intersection of innovation, compliance, and customer trust—making a real difference every day.

What

you’ll do
  • Build Product Safety and Compliance programs to ensure product compliance with new and evolving regulatory obligations.
  • Monitor program execution through KPIs and lead initiatives to improve team efficiency.
  • Partner closely with Private Brand Sourcing and Product Development teams to proactively identify and mitigate compliance risks during product ideation and sourcing.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure program awareness and communicate change impact to other business areas (i.e., Quality Technical teams, Merchant and Product development and Sourcing teams).
  • Lead by example and foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and trust.
  • Advise Merchants and Sourcing teams on regulatory requirements by product category.
  • Lead cross‑functional meetings to align on compliance strategies for upcoming launches.
  • Track regulatory changes and translate them into actionable guidance for internal teams.
  • Coach and develop your team to deliver high‑impact results and grow their careers.
What you’ll bring
  • 2+ years of compliance experience, with an emphasis on program building and execution.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Action‑oriented, resourceful, leading with initiative.
  • Organized, disciplined, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to work cross‑functionally to build strong work relationships resulting in program improvements.
  • Legal research experience and the ability to translate complex regulations into practical guidance.
  • A strategic mindset to compliance, helping influence product design and sourcing decisions that align with regulatory and brand standards.
Preferred qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Data Analytics & Visualization skills – Excel, Tableau, Power BI.
  • Experience with MS Office Suite applications.
Compensation

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 – $ and additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Stock options may also be included for certain positions.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field and 4 years’ experience in compliance, ethics, legal, project management, or related area OR 6 years’ experience in compliance, ethics, legal, project management, or related area. 2 years’ supervisory experience. 3 years’ experience using intermediate functionality of Microsoft Office.

Preferred Qualifications (Extended)

Masters in Business Administration, Project Management, or related certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP).
