Position Summary
The role supports the development, administration, and execution of sales compensation programs designed to drive performance across the organization. In this role, you will collaborate closely with Finance, HR, and Total Rewards to calculate commissions and bonuses, maintain accurate compensation documentation, and ensure sales teams receive timely updates on plan changes. You will manage key operational processes such as validating data for commission payouts, maintaining sales team roster and hierarchy records, and supporting quota setting and territory assignments.
Additionally, you will prepare quarterly performance reports, respond to compensation‑related inquiries, and participate in special projects focused on enhancing compensation tools, processes, and overall sales performance. This position requires strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with cross‑functional partners and sales teams.
- Assist in developing and administrating sales compensation plans while working with Finance to calculate commissions and bonuses.
- Partner with HR and Total Rewards to maintain compensation documentation and ensure timely communication of plan changes to the sales team.
- Support commission payout process, validating data and ensuring accuracy.
- Respond to compensation‑related inquiries from the sales team.
- Maintain up‑to‑date sales team rosters, hierarchies, and compensation plan records.
- Support quota setting and territory assignment and distribute letters for the sales team.
- Quarterly reporting related to individual or team performance.
- Participate in special projects related to compensation, planning tools, or sales performance initiatives.
- Audit payments against plan and communicate with plan stakeholders to address issues.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Statistics, or related field.
- At least 3 years of work experience in a role requiring analytical and strategic skills, such as business analyst, compensation analyst, or business development.
- The ability to communicate findings and make recommendations for improvement clearly and effectively via presentation or white paper.
- The capability to model and simulate improvements to existing business processes, evaluate "what‑if" scenarios, and conduct dry runs to identify and resolve gaps before implementation.
- Aptitude for cross‑functional collaboration across various teams, with a strong ability to multitask with a sense of urgency.
