THE ROLE

The Community Team Lead will multi‑task and support the Community Team while maintaining a pleasant flow of members entering and leaving the building, as well as helping member requests.

What we will ask of you
  • Proactively handles any membership issues and troubleshoots problems as they arise. Loops in the Director of Membership for large‑scale concerns and issues.
  • Responsible for day‑to‑day management of Community Team and desk operations, includes creating and assigning administrative tasks to Community Coordinators.
  • Coordinate restocking amenities and supplies through ordering, inventory, and stocking.
  • Provides information to prospective members regarding member benefits and general inquiries. Assists in the scheduling and leading of house tours and onboardings for potential members.
  • Manages the scheduling of all Community Coordinators, ensuring proper desk coverage is met. Plays a vital role in tracking and reporting job performance and attendance of Community Coordinators to the Director of Membership.
  • Onboarding and training of new and existing Community Coordinators.
  • Address issues with members failing to adhere to house rules and policies.
  • Act as point of contact for all PWK & Special Guest Requests, with completion of billing and internal spreadsheet.
  • Day‑to‑day management of membership administration, including taking payments, auditing records, and reporting on financial standings.
  • Act as a representative of Blake St at off‑site recruitment opportunities while inspiring potential new leads and encouraging the submission of applications.
  • Train the team and manage implementation of new software and processes with guidance from the applicable Director of the department.
  • Monitor software to ensure it is correctly set up and functioning and seek support when necessary to resolve system issues.
  • Execution of monthly birthday cards to members with help from the Community Coordinators.
  • Assist with the hosting of member events and provide appropriate staffing support upon request.
  • Working with the Marketing and Communications Manager to ensure house marketing is up‑to‑date and accurate, including event flyers, closure signs, and general postings.
  • Self‑manage. Follow attendance policy, clock in/out appropriately, adhere to dress code, be proactive in accomplishing duties, adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • All other duties as assigned by the Director of Membership.
Requirements for Success
  • 1–2 years of administrative experience.
  • Strong computer skills and the ability to monitor numerous software tasks.
  • High energy, positive, professional attitude, takes pride in work.
  • Strong writing/communications skills and phone etiquette.
  • Demonstrates strong leadership capabilities and interpersonal skills.
  • Possesses strong qualities of integrity, credibility, and commitment to company mission.
  • Degree in Hospitality Administration or Business, preferred.
  • Experience in a hospitality environment, especially in members clubs, preferred.
  • Excellent multitasking skills; strong organizational ability, time management and detail orientation.
  • Must be able to work mornings, evenings, and weekends.
