Senior Manager, Business Analysis and Insights - Strategic Planning & Innovative Practices

Position Summary

Supplier Excellence exists to make Walmart the retailer of choice for suppliers by simplifying and accelerating the supplier experience, improving enablement, and strengthening relationships—so suppliers can help deliver the company strategy. We build scalable, people‑led/tech‑powered supplier engagement models across the lifecycle (onboarding, collaboration, performance, and support), with success measured by outcomes like speed‑to‑site, self‑serve resolution, supplier sentiment, and performance transparency.

• Lead annual/quarterly planning artifacts and operating cadence (inputs/outputs, decision rights, governance).
• Own innovation intake and prioritization; manage a capacity‑aware pipeline and tradeoffs.
• Design operating mechanisms and playbooks for launches, forums, and supplier moments.
• Build reusable toolkits and capability‑building mechanisms (e.g., Merchant Academy operating model).

• Predictable intake and prioritization with clear tradeoffs (less ad‑hoc work; clearer sequencing).
• Higher on‑time delivery for supplier‑facing initiatives due to repeatable playbooks and operating cadence.
• Improved stakeholder satisfaction with clarity of process, decision rights, and readiness.

• 6+ years in strategy, program management, transformation, or operating model work.
• Experience building planning cadences and mechanisms that stick (templates, routines, decision rights) across stakeholders.
• Strong program leadership across dependencies and multiple work streams; excellent facilitation and structured problem solving.
• Bonus: launch/event support and/or capability‑building program experience.

The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00 – $. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include stock.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Statistics, or related field and 4 years’ experience in data analytics, project management, business, or related area OR 6 years’ experience in data analytics, project management, business, or related area. 2 years’ experience using intermediate functionality of Microsoft Office.
