Senior Manager, Category Management

Position Summary

Drive the growth and innovation of a highly complex category as Walmart’s Senior Manager, Category Management. This is a unique opportunity to shape category strategy, leverage analytics, and lead a high-performing team to deliver exceptional results for millions of customers.

Our team is at the forefront of data-driven decision making, collaborating across merchandising, analytics, and platform teams to optimize assortment, pricing, and customer experience.

• Provide actionable insights and analytics to merchants and account managers.
• Prepare and present sales growth, industry trends, and competitive analysis.
• Automate business reporting and monitor performance vs. forecast.
• Coordinate with platform teams to deliver customer and performance insights.
• Report on key events and initiatives.

• Expertise in category management, analytics, and market positioning.
• Strong experience with data tools (e.g., Scintilla, Madrid) and business reporting.
• Ability to synthesize insights from multiple sources and present to stakeholders.
• Proven track record in driving category growth and process improvement.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include stock.

Bachelor’s degree in business, retail or related field and 4 years’ experience in business, retail or related field OR 6 years of experience in business, retail or related field.
