The Director,Global User-Generated Content(UGC)
Compliancewillleadthedevelopmentandexecutionofcompliancestrategytoensureadherencetoevolvingregulatoryrequirementsandplatformsafetystandards.

ThisrolewilldirecttheexpansionandcontinuousimprovementofaneffectivecomplianceprogramforUGC,overseeingpolicycreation,risk management,designandimplementationofcontrols,andoperationalprocessimprovements.

Thepositionwilloverseelarge-scalecontentmoderationstrategy,monitorkeyperformanceandqualitymetrics,anddrivetrustandsafetyinitiativesthataligncomplianceeffortswithbroaderbusinessobjectives.

The Global User -Generated Content Complianceteamreportsintothelarger Global Marketplace &eCommerce

Compliance(GMEC) organization.

AstheleaderoftheUGCComplianceteam,youwillberesponsiblefordevelopingcapabilitiestogovernuser-submittedcontentacrossdigitalmarketplaces,social commerce,search capabilities,andreviewplatforms.

Youwilldevelopprocessesandleveragetechnologiestohelppreventandmitigaterisksamongavarietyofdigitalcomplianceareas,includingchildsafety,intellectual property,endorsements,andplatformliability.

• Leadtheexpansionandcontinuousimprovementofaneffectiveglobalcomplianceprogramforuser-generated content(UGC).
• Establishandgovernenterprise-widemoderationpolicies,controls,andescalationpathwaysforlegal,regulatory,andtrustandsafetyrisks.
• Leverage analytics,business intelligence,andmonitoringprogramstomeasurecontroleffectiveness,identifyemergingrisks,andunlockfuturebusinessgrowth.
• Partnercloselywithpartnersin Global Tech ,Product,and Engineeringtodevelopanddeployscalableproductsolutionsforcontentmoderationanddigitalsafety.
• Evaluateandimplementnewandemergingtechnologies,utilizingartificialintelligenceandmachinelearningtoexpandmoderationcapabilities,increaseoperationalefficiencies,anddriveaccuracyacrossourplatforms.

• Youbringdeepsubjectmatterexpertiseinbuildingandscalingcomplianceprogramsintheareasoftrustandsafety,content moderation,and/oruser-generated content.
• Youpossessstronginterpersonalskillsandhighemotionalintelligence.
• Youdemonstratestrongjudgment.
• Youdonotoperatefromaplaybook;youdefineitandexecute.
• Youareastrategistfirst,withtheabilityandagilitytoexecuteonbothtacticalandoperationalissues.
• Youhaveexperienceleadingothers—includingdirectreports,cross-functional teams,and vendors.
• Youmakedata-drivendecisionsbasedonpriorexperiencewithanalytics,business intelligence,andriskmonitoring.
• Youcommunicateclearlyandconfidentlywithseniorleaders.

• Juris Doctor (JD) or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Legal/Regulatory, or related field.
• Experience integrating Machine Learning (ML) or AI models into compliance/moderation workflows.
• Familiarity with data science and statistics concepts.
