Associate Merchant – Fitness – Weights & Benches

• Support supplier negotiations and manage purchase orders for assigned categories and subcategories
• Assist merchants with resolving supplier issues and setting up new suppliers for stores and online channels
• Execute customer communication and education programs with cross-functional teams
• Analyze sales data and track category performance for budgeting and forecasting
• Develop and implement feature proposals and modular assortment strategies across stores and online platforms
• Maintain product page content accuracy and manage item setup decisions for ordering and eCommerce
• Build and sustain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and internal partners
• Support category strategy, assortment planning, supplier relationships, and merchandising decisions

• Bachelor’s degree OR 2 years’ experience in merchandising, buying, financial planning, operations, or related area
• Proven experience in vendor relationship management and supplier negotiations
• Strong skills in data analysis and business analysis
• Ability to manage product assortment and category strategy
• Proficiency in project management and communication
• Knowledge of e-commerce management and item setup processes
• Commitment to ethical standards, integrity, and company values
• Capability to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial tracking
• Microsoft Office, negotiating with third-party suppliers, pricing, site merchandising, planning or inventory, or related area (preferred)
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Merchandising (preferred)

Demonstrates expertise in supplier negotiations, vendor relationship management, and category strategy development. Proficient in data analysis, project management, and e-commerce management to drive effective merchandising decisions.
