Associate Merchant – Citro & Repellents

• Provide administrative support for supplier negotiations and manage purchase orders within assigned categories
• Assist merchants in resolving supplier issues and facilitate setup of new suppliers for stores and online channels
• Own execution of customer communication and education programs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy of product content
• Support category features, promotions, and modular assortment implementation
• Analyze sales data and support forecasting and budgeting efforts
• Guide suppliers in developing customer-focused processes
• Maintain item setup and pricing recommendations
• Support merchandising strategy and execution for the Lawn & Garden Chemicals category
• Manage supplier relationships and merchandising activities across stores and online channels

• Bachelor’s degree OR 2 years’ experience in merchandising, buying, financial planning, operations, or related area
• Proven experience in vendor relationship management and supplier negotiations within retail or related sectors
• Strong skills in category strategy development and execution
• Ability to analyze data effectively, derive insights, and create reports
• Proficiency in managing purchase orders and resolving supplier-related issues
• Experience collaborating cross-functionally to support promotional activities and customer communication programs
• Capability to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial tracking at the category or subcategory level
• Commitment to integrity, compliance, and ethical business practices
• Microsoft Office, negotiating with third-party suppliers, pricing, site merchandising, planning or inventory, or related area (preferred)

Demonstrates expertise in supplier negotiations, vendor relationship management, and category strategy execution, with a strong ability to analyze data for budgeting and forecasting. Proficient in managing purchase orders and collaborating cross-functionally to enhance customer communication and merchandising strategies.
