Associate Merchant

• Support supplier negotiations and manage purchase orders for assigned categories
• Assist merchants with supplier issue resolution and new supplier setup for stores and online
• Execute customer communication and education programs with cross-functional teams
• Maintain accurate product page content and manage search query rules
• Track category financial performance, support forecasting, and contribute to budgeting
• Develop and implement feature proposals and modular assortment strategies across channels
• Use data analysis tools to generate insights and support decision-making
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and internal partners
• Collaborate with merchants, planners, and modular teams to drive business results and improve product assortment

• 2 years’ experience in merchandising, buying, financial planning, operations, or related area
• Proven experience in vendor and supplier relationship management, including negotiation and purchase order administration
• Strong skills in category strategy development and execution
• Ability to analyze sales and market trends
• Proficiency in data analysis and business analysis
• Experience supporting forecasting, budgeting, and performance tracking
  
  Effective communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional work
• Knowledge of e-commerce management and product assortment
• Ability to manage projects and implement business solutions aligned with organizational goals
• Preferred:
  Microsoft Office, negotiating with third-party suppliers, pricing, site merchandising, planning or inventory, or related area
• Preferred:
  Bachelors in Business or Merchandising
