Role summary:

The (USA) Manager, Assortment Activation leads the planning and execution of modular assortment initiatives, ensuring efficient resource allocation and adherence to quality standards. This role coordinates cross-functional activities, manages timelines, and mitigates risks to meet business objectives. The manager provides expert guidance on execution practices, supports continuous improvement efforts, and fosters team development through coaching and mentorship. By translating strategic insights into actionable plans, this position drives operational excellence and supports Walmart’s commitment to delivering value and a superior customer experience.

The team collaborates across functions with merchants, planning, and replenishment to develop and execute strategies for key seasonal events. They focus on data-driven decision making and category strategy to optimize product placement and customer experience. Responsibilities include managing modular design layouts, validating execution accuracy, and driving continuous process improvements. Leveraging strong project coordination, resource allocation, and communication skills, the team ensures alignment with category goals while maintaining accountability.

• Excellent communication skills to translate complex needs into actionable plans and maintain clear stakeholder updates.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop team members, fostering continuous improvement and operational excellence.
• Proficient in data analysis and problem-solving to identify improvement opportunities and drive process enhancements.
