The Direct Importsteamoperatesatthenexusof Walmart 'ssourcing,supply chain,logistics,customs,andsuppliernetworks.
Thisteamleadsthetransformationofacomplex,multi-marketlegacyecosystemintoaunifiedplatformstrategythatsupportsglobalscale,reducesoperationalcomplexity,andimprovescost,inventory,andsupplieroutcomes.
Workingacrossorganizationalboundaries,theteamconnectsplatforms,processes,andstakeholderstoaccelerateenterprisemodernizationandenablebillionsofdollarsinimportandcross-border commerce.

What you'll do
- Defineandexecutetheproductstrategyfor Direct Imports and Cross Border ,acceleratingmodernizationandretirementoflegacyplatforms.
- Leadlarge-scale,cross-functionalinitiativesspanningsourcing,suppliers,item,cost,order management,logistics,and compliance.
- Connect business,operational,andtechnologyroadmapstodeliverend-to-endsolutionsandmeasurablebusinessoutcomes.
- Drive clarity,accountability,and decision-makingacrosscomplexdependencies,competing priorities,andambiguousownershipboundaries.
- Challengeexistingprocessesandchampioninnovativeapproaches,automation,andAItosimplifyoperations,acceleratelegacyretirement,andimprovescalability.
- Influenceexecutivestakeholders,secure alignment,andremoveobstaclestoacceleratevaluedelivery.
- Develop high-performingproductteamsandfosteracultureofownership,urgency,andcontinuousimprovement.
- Provenexperienceleadingcomplexenterpriseproductportfoliosacrossmultipleplatforms,organizations,andbusinessdomains.
- Demonstratedsuccessmodernizinglegacysystemsthroughplatformconsolidation,technicaldebtreduction,andenterprisetransformation.
- Deepexpertiseinsourcing,direct imports,cross-border commerce,supplier management,order management,logistics,customs,compliance,andglobalsupplychainecosystems.
- Exceptional systems-thinkingskillswiththeabilitytoconnectbusinessprocesses,technology platforms,operational workflows,andcustomerneeds.
- Strongexecutiveinfluence,analyticalrigor,andbiasforaction,withatrackrecordofaligningstakeholders,removingobstacles,driving decisions,anddevelopinghigh-performingteamsthroughambiguityandchange.
