FORMSETTER​/FINISHER

Summary

The form setter builds wood and/or metal forms for the construction of concrete sidewalks, curbs and gutters and other concrete structures.

• Build and lay out forms as required according to specifications with the ability to make calculations depending on grades
• Fill form with fill material and compact with tamper or compactor to bring to required grade
• Clean work site of any tools, debris and equipment

• Basic carpentry skills
• Ability to read construction plans an asset
• Must be able to meet all safety requirements and applicable safety policies
• Work overtime as required

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Two to Three years of direct experience with large scale form setting and finishing required.
• Direct bridge construction experience preferred.
