Senior Manager, Project Management, Mechanical Construction

Position Summary

The Senior Manager, Project Management, Mechanical Construction leads multiple mechanical construction projects from inception through completion, ensuring adherence to budgets, schedules, and regulatory standards. The role coordinates with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to manage project scope, equipment delivery, and compliance, while developing and tracking detailed project plans and providing regular status reports.

• Manage multiple mechanical construction projects from initiation through closeout, ensuring timely completion within budget.
• Oversee construction budgets by reviewing preconstruction estimates, tracking expenditures, and approving payments and change orders.
• Coordinate equipment deliveries by verifying engineering specifications and collaborating with suppliers, vendors, and contractors.
• Monitor compliance with applicable laws and regulations, enforcing standards and resolving noncompliance issues.
• Communicate project status to stakeholders through regular reporting and meetings.
• Lead and develop project teams by assigning responsibilities, providing coaching, and conducting performance evaluations.
• Identify and remove obstacles impacting project performance while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• 3 to 5 years’ experience in construction management, construction administration, engineering, architecture, or related area.
• Proven ability to develop, review, and manage construction budgets, including preconstruction estimates and contractor payments.
• Strong knowledge of compliance standards, regulations, and enforcement within construction environments.
• Expertise in coordinating with contractors, suppliers, and cross‑functional teams to resolve issues and ensure project success.
• Excellent communication skills to provide clear project status updates and foster collaboration among stakeholders.
• Demonstrated leadership in mentoring and developing team members to achieve performance goals.
• Proficiency in project management and construction management principles, including HVAC systems and budget analysis.
