About the team:

The team leads new store construction projects by managing budgets, schedules, and contractor performance to ensure quality delivery. They collaborate across departments to resolve challenges, maintain regulatory compliance, and implement design adjustments. Focused on effective communication and problem-solving, the team oversees project scope, risk, and quality control from start to finish. They support continuous learning and development while fostering strong relationships with internal and external partners.

What you'll do:

* Manage daily execution of construction projects, ensuring timely, on-budget, and within-scope delivery.

* Coordinate with contractors, architects, and engineers to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and standards.

* Review and validate construction drawings, submittals, and change requests to maintain alignment with approved designs.

* Track project milestones, identify risks, and escalate issues to leadership to sustain progress.

* Oversee pre- and post-construction activities, including costing, scheduling, and final closeout processes.

* Ensure adherence to Walmart and regulatory compliance, safety, and environmental standards throughout projects.

* Maintain accurate project documentation and provide status updates to stakeholders.

* Proven experience managing construction projects, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.

* Strong knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, and compliance with Walmart and industry standards.

* Ability to coordinate effectively with contractors, architects, and engineering teams to maintain project alignment.

* Expertise in tracking project milestones, identifying risks, and escalating issues to leadership.

* Familiarity with local, state, and federal building codes, safety, and environmental regulations.

* Excellent communication skills to present updates and collaborate with cross-functional partners.
