Schedule: Full-Time, Onsite
Our client is a respected general contractor with a strong reputation for delivering complex builds and a culture that genuinely takes care of its people. They are looking for a Project Manager with healthcare construction experience to lead the overall direction, completion, and financial outcome of projects in this growing region. This role comes with real ownership and the chance to mentor project staff while working on meaningful, high-impact builds.
Regular travel within the region is part of the territory.
- Provide leadership in motivating the project team and maintaining a positive work environment
- Manage projects using established project controls and procedures
- Communicate with owners, architects, and subcontractors on project risk, timetables, costs, budgets, and change management
- Lead pre‑construction planning, scheduling, and cost control
- Determine subcontracting strategy, prepare front‑end documents, and manage bid processes across various delivery models
- Prepare monthly reports covering cost, schedule, safety, and cash flow for internal and external use
- Provide jobsite leadership in safety and quality
- Attend site visits for new projects and coordinate proposals for new work
- Oversee project estimating and permitting coordination
- Maintain the project's Quality Control and Quality Assurance program
- Manage the shop drawing and submittal review process
- Oversee project billing
- Mentor and supervise project staff, including Project Engineers and Superintendents
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
- 5 to 10 years of construction project management experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Healthcare construction experience required
- Willingness and ability to travel regularly within the region
- Strong technical and communication skills
- Ability to lead and work effectively within a team environment
- Familiarity with Procore, Microsoft Office, and Primavera P6 preferred
- A salary of $110,000 - $130,000, based on experience
