Estimator - Commercial Interior Construction

We are seeking an experienced Estimator to prepare accurate and competitive bids for commercial interior construction projects. This role is responsible for managing the estimating process from bid invitation through project handoff by evaluating project opportunities, performing detailed quantity takeoffs, and developing complete cost estimates for drywall, metal framing, acoustical ceilings, commercial flooring, and related interior systems.

The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of commercial construction documents, exceptional analytical skills, and experience working with vendors, subcontractors, and project teams to deliver timely and accurate proposals.

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial interior construction projects, including drywall, metal framing, acoustical ceilings, flooring, and related finish systems.
• Review architectural drawings, specifications, contracts, and bid documents to determine project scope and pricing requirements.
• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs and develop labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor cost estimates.
• Solicit, evaluate, and compare pricing from vendors and subcontractors.
• Identify scope gaps, exclusions, constructability concerns, project risks, and value engineering opportunities.
• Prepare bid proposals, scope clarifications, pricing summaries, and supporting documentation.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, field personnel, suppliers, subcontractors, and clients throughout the estimating process.
• Maintain estimating databases, historical pricing, bid records, and project documentation.
• Support project turnover by providing estimate reviews, budget information, and scope clarifications to operations teams.
• Stay current on material pricing, labor trends, and industry best practices to improve estimating accuracy.
