UHP (Unlock Human Potential) is a fast-growing, veteran-focused certification and leadership development organization on an 800‑acre campus with state‑of‑the‑art facilities in Northwest Arkansas. We train service members, veterans, and civilians through immersive 19‑day programs that produce certified fitness, health, and nutrition coaches. Our mission is simple: give veterans a new mission, a new community, and a pathway to a better life after service.
UHP is scaling rapidly. Admissions volume is expanding month over month, and we are building the team to support 100+ students per month by mid-2026 and 150–200 students per month by the end of 2026

The Enrollment Coordinator (School Certifying Official or SCO) owns the student journey from post‑application → Day 1 arrival
. This role eliminates friction, removes uncertainty, verifies funding eligibility, manages VA/VR&E processes, ensures accurate certification, and partners with Admissions Advisors to drive students toward arrival and graduation.
This is a high‑touch, human‑centered role. You are the connective tissue between veterans, Admissions Advisors, and campus operations. You protect the student experience and you protect the VA compliance posture of UHP.
Core Responsibilities Funding & VA Compliance (Primary Function)- Serve as the School Certifying Official (SCO) for all GI Bill‑eligible students.
- Manage SCO responsibilities within the VA’s Enrollment Manager system, including:
- COE verification
- Amendments, adjustments, terminations
- Student file documentation and compliance record keeping
- Own accuracy and compliance for all VA certifications—zero tolerance for errors.
- Serve as UHP’s internal expert on VA, VR&E, and scholarship eligibility rules.
- Guide students through VR&E steps end‑to‑end (intake meeting, case manager coordination, documentation, approvals).
- Communicate funding timelines, expectations, and required documentation clearly and proactively.
- Partner with Admissions Advisors to keep deals constantly moving; close gaps before they become problems.
- Maintain warm, consistent communication with every pending student through funding and travel.
- Ensure all admissions‑created Enrollment Deals have correct properties, documentation, and next steps.
- Remove administrative burden from Advisors so they stay focused on interviews and conversions.
- Conduct 1:1 calls with students to walk them through steps, documents, VA processes, and pre‑arrival expectations.
- Proactively identify veterans who are stuck, confused, or slow moving—and get them unstuck fast.
Ensure all students feel supported, cared for, and part of something bigger from the moment they’re accepted. - Provide ongoing cadence‑based nurture leading to arrival.
- Handle sensitive veteran concerns with maturity, empathy, and professionalism.
- Produce cohort‑specific student briefing decks for Coaching, Performance, and Campus Ops:
- Dietary restrictions
- Injuries and medical notes
- Mental health flags
- Confirm waivers, packing list compliance, travel itineraries, and arrival timing.
- Coordinate with campus staff on expected headcount, special accommodations, and risks.
- Manage and track all required documentation: COEs, VR&E approval letters, waivers, IDs, etc.
- Maintain enrollment compliance documentation with zero gaps.
- Communicate VA rules and funding timelines in a simple, confidence‑building way.
- Deliver consistent updates to the Head of Admissions and Advisors on student status and risks.
- 2–4+ years experience in veteran services, admissions, higher education, compliance, enrollment, or military education benefits
. - Strong familiarity with GI Bill
, VR&E, and DoD/military culture. - Proven ability to manage detailed documentation and regulatory processes with accuracy.
- High emotional intelligence; able to connect authentically with veterans and service members.
- High responsiveness — you don’t let things sit.
- Strong multi‑tasking and pipeline management ability.
- Comfortable with evenings/weekends when student needs require it.
- CRM experience (Hub Spot preferred).
