Position Summary

What you'll do...Role summary:
The Senior Manager, Electrical Engineering, leads the execution of complex projects by aligning business plans with operational needs and removing obstacles to performance. This role oversees electrical systems design, prototype development, and sustainability initiatives, ensuring compliance with company standards and policies. The position fosters team development through coaching and mentoring while promoting collaboration across functions. By driving continuous improvement and innovation, the Senior Manager supports Walmart's commitment to operational excellence, energy efficiency, and delivering value to customers through effective leadership and strategic project management.

The team leads enterprise-wide switch gear modernization and primary power conversion initiatives across multiple brands. It drives the national rollout of PSSE and Arc Flash electrical safety programs, ensuring standardized practices. The group owns prototype designs for switch gear, EV charging, and emerging electrical standards, managing electrical engineering projects and providing oversight to the engineering collective. Focused on innovation and operational excellence, the team collaborates to deliver reliable, safe, and efficient electrical systems while supporting continuous improvement and adherence to company policies and standards.

• Lead the execution of multiple electrical engineering projects by developing business plans, setting priorities, and removing obstacles to ensure performance goals are met.
• Supervise and mentor engineering associates, fostering a collaborative team environment and conducting regular performance evaluations.
• Oversee electrical systems design, prototype development, and maintenance, ensuring compliance with company standards and best practices.
• Drive sustainability initiatives by evaluating and implementing new technologies to reduce energy consumption and environmental impact.
• Manage consultant relationships and coordinate cross-functional collaboration to support operational and customer needs.
• Promote continuous improvement by analyzing project outcomes and adapting strategies accordingly.

• Extensive leadership experience in electrical engineering and engineering management.
• Proven expertise in electrical system design, including switch gear, wiring, and electrical equipment.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to drive multiple business plans and initiatives.
• Ability to develop and mentor high-performing teams through coaching and performance management.
• Experience managing consultant relationships and overseeing prototype development.
• Knowledge of sustainability practices and energy-efficient electrical system solutions.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate cross-functionally and influence stakeholders.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include:
