Tax Subject Matter Expert (SME)

We are seeking a Tax Subject Matter Expert (SME) with experience supporting sales and use tax processes in a large enterprise environment. This individual will play a key role in a tax modernization initiative, helping validate tax configurations and ensure compliance as new eCommerce and brick-and-mortar business capabilities go live. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Vertex, strong Excel skills, and a solid understanding of sales tax rates, taxability rules, and jurisdictional tax requirements.

This role will be responsible for conducting first-level reviews of tax setups, researching discrepancies, and partnering with internal tax teams to ensure accurate implementation across multiple states and jurisdictions.
