Senior Manager, Finance
As the Senior Manager, Finance, you will lead financial planning and analysis for our Optical and Hearing businesses, partnering directly with Merchandise Business Partners to inform strategy and drive performance. You will own the financial models behind short- and long-range plans, test the assumptions that shape them, and translate the results into recommendations that guide business decisions. You will serve as a trusted finance voice to senior leadership, presenting complex analysis in clear, actionable terms.
You will also set the standard for analytical rigor, sound judgment, and integrity across the team, while developing the financial acumen of the partners you support.
About the team:
This role sits within Merchandise Finance, supporting the Healthcare & Services business partners who deliver value to our Members. Optical and Hearing are growing, evolving categories that require thoughtful financial leadership and a strong point of view. The team is responsible for building business cases, leading forecasts, and managing the planning cycles tied to the Long Range and Annual Operating Plans.
We work closely with Merchandising, Operations, and Strategy partners to identify risks and opportunities early and ensure that major investments are grounded in disciplined financial analysis.
What you'll do:
- Build and maintain the financial models that support merchandising decisions, forecasts, and long-range plans for the Optical and Hearing businesses.
- Partner with Merchandise leaders and cross-functional teams to monitor performance, strengthen reporting, and surface risks and opportunities.
- Translate financial results, variances, and assumptions into clear narratives that enable timely, informed decisions by senior leadership.
- Lead execution of the planning calendar by setting priorities, removing obstacles, and adjusting course as business conditions change.
- Promote a culture of integrity, accountability, and continuous improvement in all team deliverables.
What you'll bring:
- Significant experience in FP&A, financial modeling, and the planning and forecasting cycles that support a retail or merchandise business.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present forecasts, business cases, and recommendations to senior leaders and cross-functional partners.
- A business-partner mindset, with proven critical thinking, adaptability, and a bias toward execution.
- Proficiency with data and modern analytics tools, and the ability to distill complex datasets into concise, executive-ready insights.
