Corporate Intern – Global Tax

• Work on challenging, innovative, and strategically relevant tax projects
• Gain exposure to US Federal and state income tax, global income tax reporting (provision), indirect taxes (sales and use, property), and other tax areas
• Develop broad tax knowledge through on-the-job experience
• Participate in Walmart Finance events, including meetings with Walmart executive leaders
• Participate in social events with other summer associates and tax department associates
• Collaborate within a dynamic team environment

• Currently pursuing a Masters of Accountacy (3.0 GPA or higher preferred)
• Graduating in December 2027 or May 2028
• Strong strategic and analytic skills
• Proficiency with MS Office, tax and accounting software, and data analytics tools
• Clear and concise communication across all levels
• Ability to think cross-functionally and understand impacts across multiple groups
• High level of professionalism, integrity, and collaboration
• Ability to thrive in an agile environment and handle multiple tasks within tight timelines
• Will not require sponsorship from Walmart for authorization to work now or in the future

Demonstrates strong strategic and analytic skills while collaborating effectively within a dynamic team environment. Proficient in tax and accounting software, with a solid understanding of US Federal and state income tax and global income tax reporting.
