Position Summary...What you'll do...Each year, only the top candidates are selected to receive an invitation to join the Accounting & Finance Development Program and launch their career in an accelerated development program that places their career on a fast track at the world’s largest retailer. Participants have the opportunity to complete four six-month rotations in different accounting and finance teams across four segments:
Walmart US, Sam’s Club, International, and Corporate. Participants benefit from a structured experience that provides coaching, mentorship, executive exposure, peer networking, and an industry-leading development curriculum.

You will have the opportunity to play a role in the biggest transition happening in retail (and beyond) right now. We are leaning into digital innovation and rapidly transforming our company from the largest brick & mortar retailer into a true omnichannel experience provider, delivering goods and services to our customers whenever, wherever, and however they want them. Our ongoing transformation ensures countless challenges to tackle and strategies to shape.

The Walmart Accounting & Finance Development Program is a highly competitive rotational program designed to accelerate the careers of participants as they grow into future leaders er completing the 2-year program, participants can explore available opportunities across the organization and pursue roles aligned with their interests and career goals. The AFDP has two distinct tracks:

• Finance & Strategy Track:Rotations span various Commercial Finance areas such as Strategy, Operations, Merchandising, Supply Chain, Marketing, Real Estate, and Forecasting, Planning & Analysis (FP&A). Participants will complete at least three of four 6-month rotations within the Commercial Finance organization with the option to complete one 6-month rotation within Controllership or Audit.
  
  Each role can look different and will provide exposure to financial planning, data analysis, financial modeling, strategic decision support, and initiative implementation.
