• Partner with Audit and business leaders to identify, understand, and mitigate risk across Walmart.
• Use advanced analytics and automation to deliver actionable insights, supporting the mission to help customers save money and live better.
• Support Internal Audit with machine learning GenAI and advanced analytics under the direction of the Director of Data & Analytics.
• Understand business problems, analyze data, design and implement technical solutions, and provide insights and recommendations.
• Collaborate with senior team members and business stakeholders to redefine digital Audit processes.
• Lead the delivery of analytics products, tools, and support for decision-making, including development of insightful solutions.
• Build and propose project plans through data discovery, exploration, analysis, and visualization/reporting.
• Develop and create database solutions with a focus on automation and new technology to improve Audit Data and Analytics processes.
• Present recommendations to leadership with compelling narratives and visualizations.

• 4+ years of experience in Data Science, Optimization, or Data Analytics, preferably with exposure to audit within a large corporate environment.
• Proficiency with coding (Python or Java, etc.), querying large datasets, building data pipelines, providing data insights and solutions, and adhering to data quality standards.
• Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal – with the ability to explain complex topics to non-technical audiences.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail and comfort navigating ambiguity.
• Proven ability to develop executive-level metrics and reports.
• Strong skills in data discovery, cleaning, and transformation.
• Identify root causes of problems and brainstorm data solutions to address and solve problems.
• Experience with querying, cleaning, and transforming data using SQL, Python, and tools like Big Query, Power BI, Tableau, and MS Visual Studio Code.

  Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
• Option 3: 4 years' experience in data analysis, data science, statistics, or related field.
