Overview

Position Summary...Sam’s Club is redefining how merchandising decisions are made—moving from traditional, product-centric models to agile, cross-functional squads focused on end-to-end solutions. As a Senior UX Designer – Merchant Tools, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the digital platforms merchants use to determine what to buy, how much to buy, where to place it, and how it gets to our clubs.

This hands-on role is ideal for a designer who thrives at the intersection of UX, merchandising, and platform strategy.

• Design Merchant-Facing Tools:
  Lead UX initiatives for core merchandising and replenishment platforms, including buy planning, pricing, item setup, and inventory with suppliers.
• Translate Complexity Into Clarity:
  Partner directly with merchants to turn intricate merchandising and supply chain decisions into intuitive, actionable experiences.

  Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  
  Operate as an embedded member of product, engineering, data, and business squads—actively contributing from early ideation through delivery and iteration.
• Break Down Silos & Foster Teamwork:
  Collaborate closely with the broader design team to ensure shared vision, consistency, and design excellence across all merchant tools. Proactively coordinate with partners, vocalizing challenges, opportunities, and insights to facilitate alignment and knowledge-sharing between teams.
