This role is based in Bentonville, AR.
- Lead, develop, enhance, and maintain transportation forecasts while driving accuracy and granularity improvements.
- Partner cross-functionally with other data and business teams to provide integrated forecasting solutions that support Financial and Operational planning across the supply chain.
- Communicate business-critical outcomes effectively with leaders and multiple business partners.
- Minimum qualifications — Outline of required qualifications:
Option 1:
Bachelors degree in Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field and 4 years experience in an analytics related field. Option 2:
Masters degree in Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field and 2 years experience in an analytics related field. Option 3: 6 years experience in an analytics or related field. - Preferred qualifications — Data science, machine learning, optimization models;
PhD in related fields; demonstrated experience with Python, Spark, Scala, or R; experience with open source frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn, Tensor Flow, PyTorch); knowledge of accessibility best practices and WCAG 2.2 AA standards is a plus. - Experience with large-scale forecasting using time series, ML-based forecasting, Prophet, Deep AR, LSTMs, and tree-based methodologies.
- Experience end-to-end model development and deployment lifecycle, from prototyping to production (ML Ops).
- Strong understanding of probability and statistical models; data wrangling with SQL and relational databases (e.g., Hive, Big Query).
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects and tight deadlines.
