Join the Merchandising Data and Analytics Enablement Team as a Principal Data Analyst, leveraging advanced analytics, data strategy, and data modeling expertise to drive impactful business insights. This role requires deep understanding of data quality, warehousing, and exploratory analysis to translate complex business challenges into actionable solutions. You will lead cross-functional initiatives and influence decision-making through compelling data storytelling. By aligning data-driven strategies with business objectives, you will contribute to optimizing operations and enhancing performance across multiple domains within the company.

- Analyze complex business problems using advanced data analytics and automation techniques to identify root causes and recommend effective technology solutions.
- Define key metrics and success criteria to measure progress and impact of data-driven initiatives.
- Identify, assess, and validate data sources ensuring data quality and fitness for purpose across multiple business domains.
- Translate business requirements into actionable data strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
- Develop and deliver compelling data insights tailored to complex stakeholder needs.
- Lead data quality management efforts to enhance business performance and compliance.
- Collaborate with partner teams to gain alignment, adoption, and sustained impact from solutions built on complex external data.
- Extensive experience in data analysis, visualization, and exploratory data analysis using tools such as Python, SQL, GCP and Databricks.
- Strong knowledge of data strategy, data quality management, and data warehousing principles to ensure data integrity and usability.
- Proven ability to translate complex business requirements into actionable analytics solutions aligned with organizational objectives.
- Expertise in statistical methods, data modeling, and big data technologies to support advanced business intelligence initiatives.
- Excellent communication skills to present insights effectively and influence stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of data modeling patterns (e.g., star schema, OBT), business and data quality analysis, and data engineering fundamentals.
- Familiarity with syndicated external datasets (e.g., Nielsen
IQ, Circana) and publicly available data standards/frameworks (e.g., GS1).
- You obsess over getting things done with engineering‑level rigor and have curiosity to learn the business.
- You’re a strong storyteller who can align partners and drive adoption of data products and insights.
- You’re comfortable operating as a thought leader while staying hands‑on in building analytics and data solutions.
