Position Summary

Join Walmart as a Senior Data Scientist and leverage your expertise in data science, machine learning, and advanced analytics to deliver actionable insights that drive strategic business decisions. This role involves identifying and sourcing relevant data, developing and validating analytical models, and deploying scalable solutions to support business objectives. You will collaborate across functions to translate complex data into clear visualizations and recommendations, ensuring data quality and alignment with business priorities.

• Identify and source relevant data from multiple business domains, ensuring data quality and suitability for analysis.
• Develop, test, and deploy advanced analytical models using programming languages such as Python and SQL.
• Perform exploratory data analysis and apply statistical and machine learning techniques to solve complex business problems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into data‑driven solutions aligned with strategic objectives.
• Create clear and impactful data visualizations to communicate insights effectively to technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Mentor junior team members on modeling techniques and best practices to enhance team capabilities.
• Support scalability and sustainability of deployed models through continuous evaluation and tuning.

• Extensive experience in data science and advanced analytical modeling techniques, including machine learning and statistical methods.
• Proficiency in Python programming and data visualization tools such as Matplotlib, Plot Plotly, or Tableau to communicate complex insights effectively.
• Strong knowledge of data sources, quality assessment, and database technologies including SQL and No

• Ability to develop, test, validate, and deploy scalable analytical models aligned with business objectives.
• Solid understanding of business domains to translate requirements into actionable data‑driven solutions.
• Experience mentoring junior associates and collaborating cross‑functionally to drive impactful outcomes.
