Working closely with merchants and cross‑functional teams, we identify high‑impact opportunities and deliver data‑driven solutions that optimize item selection, improve margin, and elevate the member experience.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Analyze complex datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and opportunities.
- Translate complex business challenges into analytical solutions; collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define requirements, identify opportunities, and deliver scalable, data‑driven solutions.
- Build and deploy scalable data products and models.
- Design and develop state‑of‑the‑art algorithms, AI/ML models, and optimization techniques that generate actionable business insights focusing on interpretability, scalability, and strategic impact.
- Apply causal inference techniques to traverse the data and pinpoint the true root cause (RCA).
- Bridge the gap between “insight” and “action” by building algorithmic logic that evaluates the root cause and recommends the optimal intervention.
- Apply foundational machine learning techniques and a working understanding of generative AI to solve complex, ambiguous problems creatively and effectively.
- Communicate clearly and confidently with both technical and non‑technical audiences, presenting problems, hypotheses, and solutions with clarity and business relevance.
- 5+ years of hands‑on professional work experience as a data scientist.
- Proven track record of translating complex business needs into data‑driven solutions that deliver measurable impact and align with strategic objectives.
- Strong knowledge of data engineering, including data pipelines, data quality, and database technologies such as SQL and No
SQL. - Extensive experience in data science, machine learning, and predictive modeling with proficiency in Python and PySpark programming.
- Strong understanding of causal frameworks, forecasting methodologies, and anomaly detection techniques.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools, such as Power BI, and techniques to effectively communicate insights to stakeholders.
- Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly to technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Ability to perform well under pressure, maintain focus, and deliver high‑quality outcomes in a fast‑paced, ambiguous, and dynamic environment.
- A curious mindset, passion for solving ambiguous problems, and continuous learning.
- Professional work experience with Spark and Dashboards.
- Working knowledge and understanding of generative AI and AI solutions.
- Background in creating inclusive digital experiences, knowledge of implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 – $. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Certain positions may also include Regional Pay Zone based on location.
