Senior Product Manager

This position is a Senior Product Manager role within the Network
32 (Sams Innovation) team. This is not your typical product role, if youre looking to set a 12-month roadmap and track your success against easy to quantify KPIs we arent the team for you. Our team goals are ambitious but straight forward:

• Own innovation for Sam's that is too far out to fit within a current team (tech that is 3-5+ years out from scale)
• Partner with teams across the organization to enable innovation. We have resources to provide help with experimentation, design thinking, POC building, innovation education, etc. so that we can help Sam's associates take an innovative idea and guide it through the proper steps to hopefully take it from cool idea to scaled solution
• Help build a more innovative culture at Sam's. We'll do this by hosting events like innovation jams, hackathons, speakers' series, and by providing educational opportunities across the organization.

As a Product Manager in Network
32 you will be responsible for owning an area of innovation and running experiments and building POCs within that area. While our team has dedicated engineering and UX, youll also spin up tiger teams of contractors, work with startups, partner with large tech companies, and everything in between to learn as much as we can as quickly as we can to ensure Sams is not just a part of the future of retail but driving it.

While our areas of focus are ever evolving, some of the key areas that we are working in now are:

• Web 3
• Metaverse
• Frictionless shopping
• Robotics
• Future service offerings

While our team members are experienced within Sams and their fields, our team itself is new.
