Help Desk Technician

Location:

Bentonville, AR

Pay Rate: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

Monday–Friday | 8 AM–5 PM

Qualifications & Requirements
  • Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Previous Help Desk, technical support, or customer service experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of computer hardware, laptops, mobile devices, printers, copiers, and network drives.
  • Experience supporting Windows 11, Apple iOS, and Android operating systems.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Visio.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, and Safari web browsers.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to travel occasionally, including overnight travel.
  • ITIL Foundations certification preferred.
  • CompTIA A+ certification preferred.
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for computers, laptops, mobile devices, printers, copiers, and network resources.
  • Respond to user requests and resolve hardware, software, and system issues promptly.
  • Install, configure, and support software applications, updates, and system upgrades.
  • Diagnose technical problems, research solutions, and guide users through issue resolution.
  • Escalate complex technical issues to specialized IT teams when necessary.
  • Document support requests, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions within the help desk system.
  • Monitor recurring issues and recommend process improvements to enhance support services.
  • Deliver excellent customer service while building positive relationships with users.
  • Support Microsoft Office applications and common web browsers.
