The Global Audit Data Analytics Team within Global Technology Audit collaborates with audit and business units to identify and mitigate risks through advanced data analytics and strategic insights. The team applies expertise in data strategy, statistical modeling, and visualization to enhance decision‑making and operational efficiency. Whatyou’ll do
- Identify and assess appropriate data sources aligned with business requirements and service level agreements to ensure data fitness for purpose.
- Formulate technical solutions by translating business problems into data‑driven approaches using advanced analytics and automation techniques.
- Design and implement advanced data visualizations to communicate complex insights effectively, tailoring presentations to stakeholder needs.
- Develop and execute data strategies that maximize business value while ensuring compliance with data quality, governance, and security standards.
- Lead data quality management initiatives, including profiling, cleansing, and monitoring to maintain high data integrity.
- Mentor team members, fostering skill development and promoting continuous improvement in analytics practices.
- Extensive experience in data analytics, including big data technologies such as Apache Spark and No
SQL databases. - Proficiency in Python programming for data analysis, visualization, and automation.
- Strong understanding of data quality management, data governance, and enterprise data architecture principles.
- Ability to translate complex business problems into data‑driven solutions aligned with strategic objectives.
- Expertise in developing and implementing data strategies that unlock business value and support decision‑making.
- Skilled in advanced data visualization tools and techniques to communicate insights effectively.
- Proven leadership in mentoring teams and driving performance through coaching and development.
Option 1:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Arts, Finance or related field and 4 years’ experience in data analysis, data science, statistics, or related field.
Option 2:
Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field and 2 years’ experience in data analysis, data science, statistics, or related field.
Option 3: 6 years’ experience in data analysis, data science, statistics, or related field.
1 year’s supervisory experience.
Preferred QualificationsData science, data analysis, statistics or related field;
Master’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field;
Related industry experience (e.g., retail, merchandising, healthcare, eCommerce);
Successful completion of assessments in data analysis and Business Intelligence tools and scripting languages (e.g., SQL, Python, Spark, Scala, R, Power BI, Tableau);
Supervisory experience.
